Dan..I gutted my airbox and enlarged the front opening. Then took and cut a little metal behind the headlight. Got some thick and wide weatherstripping and added it onto the metal radiator support where the box could seal up. Now I'm pulling air directly from behind the headlight.

Further looking at the car I discovered the factory spoiler/and a flap near the fog light..actually direct a good amount of air right behind our headlights. Didn't bother to change it yet.
