CAI on the cheep
Ok, I made a low cost CAI here and took a few pictures to show how it was done. Not including the filter, the cost was about $5

Before I removed the box

All the parts. 3" PVC pipe, two cut 4" long, and one 45 deg. elbo

Filter installed. Just need to make a bracket to hold it up.

PVC is the WORST thing you could have used

Is there any proof , as some people think it is better.Just curious cause the performance shop I bought my filter from said people are using PVC OR (or the other plastic pipe at hardware stores) and I told him its no good and he said it was not true , it doesnt heat up as much as steal blah blah.Like I said I dont know but would like more proof.I dont use it on my 2000 but I do on my 90 beater
