oh, and - what'* the easiest way to find out what my gear ratio is? i read above, about the 3.06 or whatever would've had the */c axles, any easy way to figure out what i have?

Go back to that spare tire cover again and look for FW2 meaning:

FW2 - ratio, transaxle, final drive 3.06

You can also go here http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...e=article&k=13 to find out what a few more of those little letters and numbers mean.

If you cant find all of them on there and really want to find out what they mean, you can search for like "GM Master RPO list" someone had a hosted copy of it around here at some point.

I have a copy of it on my hard drive I can either send to you, or just look up what few you might not find on there.

Some people are anal like me and like to know what all those things mean
