and INTENSE hooked me up!

i finally had my Christmas presents installed today! 1.9 Rockers, OR pushrods, springs, new wires, and two drops in sparkies.

spent a few hours at the new INTENSE shop just outside of Columbus - a few hours well spent.

the power is great - TOO GREAT for this FWD! i can't keep it stuck at all now.

the winter time is not the best to do performance mods...........there is no where to try them out

Yeah, there really isn't ever much traction, or a safe place to drive fast. I even have problems with traction in my 4 cyl when I'm trying to drive normal. I can't go WOT at all in 1st gear...which is quite rediculous for a 180hp car.

i have an idea that i am kicking around for more traction. i will let it out later if it pans out.

anyway, i can't wait until the spring and summer to get heat into the tires. any ideas how fast i should run? i have heard high thirteens.

PCM should be next on your list of goodies, then you can have the high RPM fun, well at least when the weather gets nice.

Add that and an lsd and you'll be in the 13'*

Big Jeff said the car felt strong when he test drove it....did you get the FWI done as well? If I had to guess I would say 14.7 until you learn to launch with a max of about 14 on street tires. Don't forget to pull your WSS when you run

i hope to have the FWI by the May Meet. i am going to try and make it. i am already talking to my LOVELY wife about Birthday Presents . . . Headers, LSD, smaller pulley

i did have one question though. my fuel mileage dropped 3 mpg. did anyone experience this? i am a lead-foot to begin with, but this seemed a bit much.
