well i wasn't looking for a turbo because i hate the idea of turbo lag, and with a sc the power is there when i need it... and im lighter than a gran prix so ill be pulling faster times anyways with the bigger sc...
Hey sunbird, there'* a reason that most Fieros don't swap a S2 into their cars. And I saw a Grand Am with a swap, and I'm amazed he got around the problem.
The nosedrive and belt path on the S2 is much farther off-axis than the S1, and in fact, that SC drive belt has to travel around an engine mount in the larger cars to get it to work. That'* going to be quite a trick in a Sunbird engine compartment.
It'* possible, but you won't have anything you can work on in the future. A S1 swap will be much more practical, especially in a dinky car like you have. MUCH more practical.
And if you consider an intercooled setup, you can ditch the hood.

There'* VERY little difference in performance between the 94/95 Series 1 and the Series 2 in performance, in fact, they are pretty much neck and neck.

this is all i know about his car
but you're all very right... half the problems i won't know till i get there but i will look heavily into placement and what would need to be fabricated in orfer to get everything where it needs to go... im not too worried b/c i have alot of experience with cnc lathe'* milling nachines and drill presses... go tech. school

At the very least, you may have to do some inner fender liner removal, but a better option may be to find a shorter nosedrive for the SC. And relocate the AC compressor to match. This will bring that drive belt path farther inboard, possibly saving you some engine bay space headaches.
