-15 to -35 Timing Advance WTF?!
I believe the negative symbol in that has something to do with the scan tool showing spark in crank degrees @TDC. So, since TDC = 0*, -27 = 27* BTDC, or 27* spark advance. Maybe that'* the beer talking though...
Just scanned my new GT for the first time.
I was seeing ~20 at idle and ~30 cruising, at WOT it was at ~24. So if your car is healthy than mine (prolly is) then your numbers look the be close.
What I had earlier are my GTP numbers

Thanks for the confirmation of the numbers - they just seemed WAY off, but now at least I know my car'* not too crazy. Aeroforce should take note of the negative numbers on '97 Bonnevilles in addition to the GP'*.
Bob, I just looked over some of my old scan logs. My Auto Xray didn't do so well at logging data, but my timing numbers were very similar to yours. Seeing 18-20 degrees at WOT, and all the numbers were listed as negatives. When Intense tuned it they found no problems with the numbers they were seeing, and I forger if their HP Tuners software indicated positive or negative timing numbers. Whatever the case, rest assured that your car seems to be normal for a '97 L36 Bonnie.

Hmmm... My 95 does 13*-14* at idle.... 19* WOT, And tooling around town say at 40 mph with TCC lock, I was seeing 38*-40*
My funky car is OBD1 tho... And is quirky at best
