Default 13'* possible N/A?

I have a freakin burning hole in my pocket cause ZZP is taking forever to come out with that supercharger.

I was wondering, is the 13'* possible N/A ?

Whos gone the furthest on this Forum without boost?

I think Im answering my question by saying this but what the hell, I saw someone in the Grandprix forum run an 12.9 with the Stroker kit and some other stuff I dont remember.

How much would something like that cost to install?? Its about 1500. About what I can afford.

So to rephrase my question, what path do you need to take too see 13'* without a supercharger/turbo.

i say 24 valve heads for starters. i know the 3.2 liter SHO engine will do 220 horsepower, bone stock. mild mods bring it in the SSEi'* territory. that would be my guess. good luck finding some of those though

13'* out of a N/A Bonneville is honestly not going to happen. . . .It would be way too much money, would not be good on the street and prob. not very practical. Go F/I - you'll never turn back.

I agree with that, for the most part. You would need some very deep pockets.
Maybe some stage 3 mods and upped compression could net you something close. You'll need to knock off 3 1/2 seconds to land a solid 13.

A stroker isnt going to do it for you.

The INTENSE N/A GT had a best of 13.2 with stage 2 heads and cam package, very lightened, built trans, converter, etc...

I suggest you save another 1500 and get a turbo.

24 valve heads? Explain how we could do that please. We have PUSRODS. OHV, not OHC. And mild mods bring the SSEi into the 220hp territory? Every SSEi from 94-2003 has more than that stock!

Fordboy strikes again. OHC would be sweet. Maybe Randy needs to consider this as the first big mod to Frank
