How sought after are the 96 olds cutlass ciera 3.1station wagon
So I got this beauty thru some family and help to say 6 mouths later, I'm happy with the old girl. Besides a new water pump, radiator, vacuum line, spark plugs, window motors. Soon to redo all gaskets and start building up the 3.1. It was garage kept and looks like it just drove out pf the factory. All original parts, but trying to look up Rarity of 96 Oldsmobile cutlass ciera SL V6 3.1 5 door station wagon.

Would like to see a few photos! Generally good cars, reliable too.
I think you would have to contact GM to find out how many wagons were produced.
I read that around 100,000 cars of the Ciera in general were produced annually.

Thanks for getting back to me so fast
This my 5 door, with all the blow and whistles for 1996 cruise control, power seats, throttle body fuel injection, etc. Interior is just as nice as the exterior, it'* all mint. But I have recently found at some parts are hard to come by because of being obsolete and or obscurity. The Buick is more readily available with parts, ive found.

If you are asking if a wagon has more value than a sedan, according to Blue Book there is no difference in value....so if you are planning to put a lot of money into it, chances are you won't get your money back when you go to sell it....

I've never been a huge fan of those things, but have nothing really against them. That having been said, I am a fan of obscure cars of just about any sort. It'* great to see one in such good condition still surviving. I'm pretty sure there aren't many others still on the road. What few that are left are likely in pretty bad condition.

Just to reiterate, license plates are a matter of public viewing. If it can be seen in public view, then pictures of them on the internet are just the same. We are not going to edit every picture that comes in here to block out license plates. If someone is worried about personal information on the internet, well...its too late for that. You are already on it.

Thank you and open to more comments
So I should've but in alittle more back round, I got this olds from my sister boyfriend'* aunt & I'm the 3rd owner. It'* mint for sure and the price tag of 1200 which became 100 after I good day of hard work building a fence for him. He bought me a battery. So 1000 dollars later, and ive only done what'* been truly those must fixs. New radiator, water pump, just got new window motors for driver & pass front doors. This will become my Sunday driver do to the condition and obscurity of oldsmobile apparently we manufacture under 7000 wagons last year in 1996. Which makes it super difficult to get any part besides engine parts. I have plans to keep her stock besides new A.C. compresser & tank &the works, with life time warranty & tint before summer. However I plan to make this something I can attend shows with. If I keep her on the side within about 5 to 10 years that value may go up. Never the less, she'* got a clean bill of health & drives like no import or previously owned car of mine. The insurance is cheap too! Only downer about this wagon 3.1 is that its gaskets like I've read up on most olds are going bad. But ill be doing a full replacement soon cause why not do them all if in going for do the lower intake manifold gasket. Going to have her alive along time putring 2nd design gaskets with metal liner/supports. Thank you all for any information gathered, here and in happy to have find you all.
P.*. anyone know how the title says gray....but that'* like 3 different colors, green, blue, teal or turquoise.

Nice car, I happen to have a love for the GM A-bodies.
You do want the Fel-Pro Premium Solution intake manifold gasket set. I put it on our '96 back in 2006. Someone should be shot at GM for the plastic carrier and Weather-Pak looking intake gaskets that came in these 60 degree V6s new (and others). I think GM may have also offered an 'improved' gasket set for our '96s, but they aren't any good either.
Incidentally, you mentioned your engine having throttle body injection. Actually, it is sequential, multiport fuel injection system. There were 2.8/3.1s V6s (not to be confused 3100s, a number of improvements and why GM changed the designation) in '*' trucks and 'U' vans that were throttle body injection. They happen to have a lower CFM throttle body that should be better suited for my 292 L6 throttle body injection conversion that I just started.
