Man, those torque axis bolts are a bitch if they've rusted, which, as you can guess on a car with this many miles, they were.

i think that car needs to sent back to GM to see what they did RIGHT on it..

GM did a lot of right on our cars.. but there were a few major parts that they went wrong on

Tranny [it was good.. but not good enough]
Alternators [purely sucked]
Design hickups [LN3 tstat housing.. com'on people ONE BOLT?!?!?!?! *cough*crackheads*cough*]
Clear coat.. what did they put in it? Sand paper???
SSE Tails.. could you make it any harder to get one of these? I think GM buys them all, and then sells them for 4x their value.

The Olds even has NO exterior rust. My Bonny has just a bit of bubbling under the gas filler at 130000. It makes me mad.
