disconnecting the battery doesnt clear the codes, you have to reset it with the scanner or wait the required number of restarts or drive cycles before it runs the test again

I changed the control module with a used one, but I believe it is slightly different. The fan is blowing, but it is only blowing from the defroster and the bottom. It will not blow out the dash vents. Does anyone know what the part number is for this module and what models and years are interchangeable? I have an auto temperature controller.
