Your average JackA$$ rant
So today I decided it was time to strap my 8 year old in to a go Kart and turn him lose. We went through the briefing and headed down stairs to the track, While waiting in line feeling very uncomfortable about things the owner came up to me and said my son needed to go to the junior line.. He said to take him there and take my place back in line where I was (we would finish up at the same time).. Well i walked him over and went over a few details about driving and came back. Well there was this man and his son there (Behind me in line to begin with) I took my place back in front of them. Well as the door opened the man behind me who I had my back to shoved me into the wall (his first Mistake). I immediately turned around to ask what his problem was... and it was Harvick vs Montoya circa 2007 all over again. Once face to face he proceeded to grab my Helmet and push me about. (second Mistake) I broke his grip kinda like Harvick did and got ready to take off my Helmet. I leaned into him and said If he put his hands on me again he would have a ride out of here and he wouldnt be going home (His eyes grew huge) He then proceeded to punch me in the helmet (bet that hurt) Just as I was ready to rip his face off 2 guys and the owner took him down (and escorted him and his crying son out)
Now I know I have a temper but kept it pretty much under control, I don't know how much longer I could have but I did. And I said somethings that I likely could have gotten in trouble for saying but as I turned around the guy in front of me said Nice if it were me I would have left in a police car lol.
Some people think the world owes them.... They are the people this world can do with out.
Anyways this man owes a huge thank you to the employees of the track for saving his a$$ because unlike Harvick I was ready to follow through with my threats.
[end rant]
Oh yeah My son who was in a kart alone for the first time today was 1.5 seconds off the track record. !

The worst part is he was acting like that in front of his kid. Its one thing if a parent wants to act like an a$$ on their own, but don't teach your kid that. Not you, the other guy. I like that you stood up for your self and your son, teaches your son do to the same.
Awesome about your son'* driving too.
