Are you SERIOUS?? That really sucks...I thought you owned your car though? When I had my 89 I put it in my mom'* name for insurance reasons, and she was ALWAYS holding that over my head...i'll take the car away if you don't do this...i'll sell it if you don't do that...needless to say next one is in Dad'* name.... :P Can't afford $2400 a year for my car....or $3400 for my 2000 :?
I'd be furious....

I thought it was cool that the cop was so interested in your car. I suppose the police rarely see a Bonneville so decked out. I'm sure he was impressed. Probably tired of pullin over rice boys with bad attitudes.

Or maybe he drives a Bonneville too!!
He did tell me he had an old car back in his garage with a set of glass packs though.

I'm just thankful. They could have ticketed me for noise, no cat, and made me get a cat installed. I've learned that if you treat the cops with respect they will usually be nice back to you. Thank god it worked this time too!

My dads name was/is still on it too. Tha'* why I payes it off before anything else. There was a "bank error" when I switched to electroin payments a few years ago and the car got repod' for 3 days. It didn't hit my credit but it hit my dad'* and he was PISSED! That'* why I was so pissed when I found out it wasn't paid off yet like I thought.

Bummer dude... I know how you feel about deckin people for being an A$$holes.. and should have the exhaust shoved up their a$$. I also agree that you're simply pissed cause of his inmature behaviour and riskin not only your life.. but the life of your newborn was at risk would make any parents ticked off ( hummm... maybe a selin point to the court?? guilty with a reason ?? lessen charge ).. but before you react next time and Dumb ***' that should be shipped to Iraq with a Red bullseye on them, think of your son first and foremost... you don't want to do anything that would hurt him ( that includes daddy spendin time in jail ) ha ha ha.... Next time if you're going to do sometihing like that.. make sure there'* no witnesses around set a Rice car on fire or something.. ha ha ha

Wow! You are so lucky you had nice cops pull you over. They sounded pretty reasonable, too. It looks like they were testing you a bit, like if you gave them attitude, they would have ticketed you. You passed the test. They were probably thinking back to the last time they pulled over a ricer and got smart-*** responses.

Good job at holding your cool.
