you know you really love your car when, you learn two whole new engine systems, all about cv axles and composite headlimps because no one is allowed within 25 feet with a wrench. (that'* me to a T)

...when your parents' 2000 Buick in pristine condition hits the streets and yours gets the garage... for weeks on end...and you swear your "still working on it" even though you cant bear to touch even the door handle without a cloth... 
...when you swear the magnetic antenna mount wont scratch the parents' car, but theres no way in hell it will ever touch your paint...
