................... um yea, we are talkin' about a car... right? I like my car also, but not that much I don't think I'd ever like a car enough to do "SOME" of the things on ur list Tam, Most of them are good reasons, I don't go to those extremes anymore cause whatever u charish usually gets taken away from U (like my very playaristic cd collection and cd reciever) yea, I know it'* hard not to luv ur car like it'* alive but just remember tha more U love it the possibility of something happen'in to it will increse;(like my palyer cd collection) So charish something more important like Me.... um Drifer yea Drifter yea, Mista loves his car also, more like a get me here to this gals house and that guls house........

It'* Mista Kia Reo?

.....all of the above and...

When you don't drive it at all if the roads are the least bit wet and when it does happen to rain, you jack it up and clean the underpan and suspension.

When you have an extra set of floor mats (and trunk mat) custom cut out of your left over bedroom deep pile rug so the kids don't dirty the original floor mats.

Good to know I am not the only anal Pontiac lover.

Whoa...and I though I was nuts! You clean the underpan and suspension evey time it rains? If I did that I would never leave my yard!

You find yourself late to all non-work occasions b/c you really had to get that grease off your valve cover, bugs off the grill, fingerprints off the trunk, etc...

You've CANCELED other occasions b/c your car wasnt ready for a trip. (Mentally not physcially )

You have Armorall, leather cleaner, travel wax. a diaper, shammy, & a bag of clean towels in your trunk.

When your car is in the shop you become very depressed and irritated.

you work on it until 3 in the morning knowing full well you have to get up at 7:30am for your kid'* soccer game.

your waxing it at 11pm in your driveway with 2 x1000 watt halogen flood lights knowing full well the neighbors think your physco.

your kids ask you about your cars' plans for the weekend before they ask if you can take them somewhere.

Heh, i really DO love my family more, REALLY!

I forgot one- You walk out to the garage to get tool, see your car, check things out, think about what you want to do with it. Then you realize 1/2 hour went by and you have no idea why you came out to the garage.

Not nuts....just misunderstood.

My Jeep handles the rain. My Bonne stays garaged when it rains, so it rarely gets wet...but when it does it'* rag time baby.

My Firebird is the same. After 24 years you can eat off the undercarriage. Not a spot of rust or dirt anywhere.

I am fortuneate enough to live on the Sunshine Coast where the median temp year round is 60 F with no snow. Sure it rains a lot in winter but that'* where the 4WD Jeep comes in.

My house and family are treated the same way...believe me. Just make them take their shoes off.
