WELL HOLD ON!
Notice there'* no pics of the back? For goos reason, it'* all scratched up, the paint on the spoiler is faded, oh, and he ran into something when he was getting ready to tow it, so the rear right wheel is cocked in. Not even the bad part. The inside. When you open the doors, that has a horrible squeaking by the way, you are hit with a combination of cigarette smoke and I don't want to know what else. You look down at the seats and they are WAY worn and all kinds of torn. You look at the carpeting and it is just filthy. I didn't notice this, but my dad said that there was some mold starting to grow in there. Ok so, trying to look on the bright side, you go to get some fresh air via the sunroof, I go to open it, and it makes this horrible grinding sound, so I quickly let go of the switch. Noticing your foot is catching something, you look down to find that all of the wires for, well, it looks like everything, has been f*cked with. So you get out of the car, and go to the back seat, open the door, expecting to sit down in those oh so comfortable, warm seats, and there is trash on the seat, great effort guys. So you get out, yet again, thinking, well, it can't possibly get worse, well it does. You open the driver door to open the trunk, only to find at least half of it disassembled. You do you disassemble a trunk you ask? Well, just rip it apart, of course. So I close the trunk, in disbelief. My dad and I go for a little test drive, yes with the tire cocked, it was still drivable, hell if my dad or I cared, we weren't going to buy it anyway. Oh, and we go to turn the A/C on, and it won't even switch from windshield defroster to normal A/C. Oh, so mad. But I did get to marvel at the HUD
So we drive back, only to see the "check engine" light lit. The only reason I did not want to get out was because of the seats, those things are better than any lazy boy, even if they are torn. So I get out, close the door with another squeaky "thud". The Bonneville provides a very reassuring thud, actually. We said, "Well, we have two other Bonnevilles we are going to look at, and we'll get back to you," We couldn't get away fast enough. Oh, and my dad wants to know the normal operating temp. on these cars, because within the first 30 seconds, it bounced to, oh, what was it, 210* I think. God, before today, I could never have imagined such back-woods hillbillys driving a Bonneville.
End of rant. But, hey, it was worth it, I got to actually sit in and "use" a Bonneville, very nice experience. Well, I've done it before, my mom used to have like a '89 when I was sooo little.

Oh, no. Come to find out, he had just bought it from a friend, but had never technically transfered the title! Yeah, my dad was just curious about the temp. This one has a Series II right? http://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/1953215370.html

You know, the guys over at another forum got me thinking, how much would you guesstimate it would cost to fix it up? This Bonnie is obviously crying out for help... I will of course try to talk him down.
