Well, tonight I am going to our company'* annual epmployee appreciation banquet downtown. This is an all company black tie event. Usually they dish out LOTS of prizes and other fun stuff to everyone.

Now the "nerve wrecking" part for me tonight is the fact that out of 2600+ employees, I made the final 12 for employee of the year. The bright side is that employee of the year gets compensated by the company very nicely with monet and little perks for only them. The down side is if I were to win, I would possibly need to make a short acceptance speach. I'm not a big fan of public speaking. :? Even if I don't get EOtY, I still might make one of the 5 runners up (who for a little committe for the EOtY) and they also get rewarded, but not quite as nice as the EOtY.

So now it'* time for me to start getting ready for tonight. Wish me luck!

I didn't get Employee of the Year... but I did get elected to what they call "the Eagles Cabinet". This is the 5 runners up. This isn't bad at all! What does this mean for me? This means I get somwwhere between $1500 - $2000 cash, and a free trip.

The Trip I get is a all expense paid trip to our FMO (Feild Marketing ORganazation) offsite meeting in Perto Rico!!!! I 'll get to stay at a 5 star hotel, and not have to pay for a damn thing!

Now here is the part I really like. I get to bring a guest with me. I have a friend at work (who I kinda have a thing for) that I caled up and told her what I won. From our brief conversation it sounds like I may have a guest already picked out .

Anyways....I need to finish my Taco Bell and watch Police Acadamy.
