Up here in central MN, it'* been iced over since last Sunday. No traction between 10PM and 9 or 10AM. There was supposedly over 75 accidents on I-94 between Alexandria and St. Cloud between Monday morning and yesterday morning.
As, for the snow, there was about 1 inch on the ground and what didn't melt today got -get this- raked. I raked the lawn too early this fall, and so there were quite a few leaves on the lawn and dad and I decided we didn't want to be blowing leaves with the John Deere snowblower when we blow a path to the back alley. So we spent a little over an hour and a half raking the back and the sides of the house -pretty much removed all the snow. The snow in the front yard was in direct sunlight so that all melted.

WOW, my new tires are excellent. A busted traction control system + supercharged engine + ice = havock? Not nessesarly. If i'm really gentle on the gas I can actually get up an partially iced over street without much wheelspin if any at all. BF Goody'* all the way.

Busted TC? Does this mean you don't have ABS either? If so you might want to check the WSS'* and make sure there aren't any broken wires. When I picked up my SSE the ABS TC lights were on. Finally got the car jacked up, toook the drivers front wheel off and there was my problem. The clip had gotten gapped so much that it no longer clipped to the plate it supposed to latch onto. I had come loose and gotten caught in either the rim or the rotor. Took two minutes and two butt-splices and my ABS and TC were functional once again.

My "traction active" light comes on upon start up which means its working. However, that light is supposed to come on when I loose traction and it does not. I don't think the system would allow me to roast my tires either. Wehn I push the button as to turn it off the "traction off" light does not come on either. I think that light is burned out all together. As for ABS i'm not sure, there is no warning light but then again it could be just another burned out bulb. I gues i'll have to test it.
