Update on Mr. Mars there from the first post. He tried one more time last night... sent me the "Hey there" instant message followed up by the "I'm sorry about the other night".

I opted to Delete Delete instead of replying. I can only assume that he would have followed up with the "I ran out of my medication and wasn't thinking as clearly as usual..."
