Here in Michigan, we deal with cold weather by installing remote starters in our cars. So you don't have to get out of your house ---- never.

engine block heater? whats that?

just kidding. i knew thats what it was too. here in new mexico, engine block heaters are only seen on vehicles from the north. coldest we ever see any given year is 15F in the dead of winter. 10F if conditions are just right. 6 inches of snow once a year max. might have a dusting again, but nothing like what you guys up north see. people freak out, and most of town shuts down with 3 inches of snow. could y'all send some snow down? we need it.

Okay, my power steering problem has nothing to do with the temp. Everytime I've lost steering the gauge has read that its normal, and this is after about 30 minutes of driving. This has been going on for four days now. Usually it cuts out when the steering wheel is 3/4 the way to the stop in either direction, or going under 10 miles per hour. Parallel parking the other day at the cop shop I lost power steering, three times when pulling into standard parking spaces today I've lost power steering.

If anyone can track down some power steering failure topics in '92-'95 Mechanical I would really appreciate it. I'm not finding any specific enough topics.

I assumed you checked the electrical connectors? Maybe a fluid swap is in order.

I don't have enough knowledge about this car to know where to start. Where are the electrical connectors for power steering?
