We can get a drivers license the day we turn 15 in Idaho.

1978 GMC 3/4 Ton Pickup Truck with a 7.4L with a mild cam and holley (forget the variety but it was bad ***) carb. Unknown HP but it had a buttload of low-end torque and killed just about anything to 50mph.

Lasted about 14 months before it thru a rod.

I then had a Midnight Blue 1987 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Regency Brougham Coupe. Paid $950 cash for her and she lasted me until 222k. Lasted about 15 months. Then I had a 89 Bonneville LE for 3 months ($100), a 95 Olds LSS-SC for 4 months ($100), a 1994 Olds 88 for 15 months ($1100), a 1994 SSEi that lasted 2 months, a 1993 SSEi for 12 months($4000), a 2000 SSEi that lasted 1 month ($4400), And finally a 1998 SSEi thats lasted 6 days($2650). I've bought all my cars with my own cash, only exception was the truck, that was a hand-me-down beater that my dad was embarrassed to sell to anybody since it had a plethora of problems. I've actually made money when I've sold every car except the 2000 SSEi....

1994 Buick Century. Had the 3100 V6, 78k miles. Got it from my aunt for free. I sold it when problems arised on the car, such as the when the LIM gaskets failed, I replaced them and it was too late, it had 1 or 2 collapsed lifters and still does, my mom drives it.

Them MY first car was a pick up truck. A brand new 1994 *-10. First year of teh new style. Very cool. NO options, not even a radio, but it was all mine.

had actually 3 first cars.

#1 **** brown 1977 Jeep J-20 truck, step dad sold it before I started driving, was supposed to go to me.

#2 **** brown 1984 Dodge Rampage.... think El Camino, but half the size. paid $300, never drove it out of my neighborhood.

#3 light blue 1986 Dodge Aries... ahh yes the "K" car... absolute POS. paid $200. thought it needed a motor, ended up being the started locked to the flywheel. the car spent more time broke down in the driveway then on the road driveable. just a partial list of replaced parts: starter, shocks, alternator, brakes, brakes, brakes, cv axels, computer, tires, steering column, then finally transmission.

then my first bonneville, 1989 se absolutely LOVED that car, lasted forever!

75 Chevy P/U 3/4 Ton tags.. 1 ton suspension from the factory. Nightmare to buy parts for ...except that sweet 350. aka 5.7L

Nothing could touch that old bomb until 50mph. Gearing rocks... told I could have it if I fixed it up and got it going again. I think I sunk more into it than my b'ville.

Sister left it dented on all 4 corners before I got it. Timing chain had worn a hole in the cover..... exhaust quickly fell off.

I had a 95 about 5 years ago. Paid $300, put a clutch in it and it was great. I actually loved mine, it was in really good shape, and it was a standard. LOVED it, would get another one if it was in good shape ad price was right.

I had a 1985 Chevrolet Camaro Berlinetta V6. It was midnight blue, no rust, and only had 76k on it. I got it for $100 and sold it 2 months later for $1,500 And then I bought my 1989 Ford Thunderbird SC.
