Well, the title is pretty self explanatory. Can't say you haven't been warned.

I don't know if it'* the year, or just my yard, but I got a ton of spiders at my place. Mostly outside, thank goodness (I ain't a big fan). Every place you could think to build a web has one.

It'* kinda cool to watch them make their webs each evening. Just so long as they don't get on me, we have a truce.

What gets to me, and will die every chance I get, are what I call "spiderpedes". The rest of the world calls them house centipedes I guess.

Geez those things give me the *******!! I've almost hurt myself a couple times chasing one of them down with a shoe....

I thought you were gonna say from running away from them I know I definately don't want to see anything like that. I only like the sound they make when they get squished!!!

Mike, please consider this official, I worked at a park as a volunteer for several years.
That is a common Wolf Spider, a harmless little hunting spider. You probably have fifty of them in your basement, and thousands in your yard. They are completely harmless unless you are allergic to spider-bites, and even then you'd get a relatively mild reaction.
BTW, he'* a she, the males are tiny, less than a 1/4" at biggest.
