I agree, all I really want to see is a Firebird sister fo the camaro, T tops of course I kinda like the looks of the new Camaro, and while I HATE big rims (side wall flex is a must for the driving and terrain I see) I understand the function of them in the desighn.
Shame is, for the first few years everyone is going to go out and get one, making it too much of the "in thing" for me to even want one. Much rather go out and pick up a '99 SS or Firehawk, or even a 69

LMAO!

Good luck finding a '69 firebird anything that you can afford. Nowadays, thanks largely to Jackson & Barret, anything nice (and I'm not talking mint or show either) is $15,000-20,000. Just this week, I saw a '69 Z28 in prime shape (still not show quality IMO) and they were asking $44,000.

Trust me I know what they cost and what I can afford Besides, I'm more build it than buy it. A $10-$15K project car would suit me fine

But as far as the new Camaro goes, I really like the hood lines the most although I'd like to see a little more agressive cowl

Keep it bare bones for the base model at under $35 K and 3300 lbs.

An intercooled turbo option on the smallest engine choice.

.....and bring back the Firebird

I half agree with you there, Bring back the Firebird/TransAm, but no turbo, I don't like turbo
