Default My friends new car I WANT 84 camaro take a look

My friend bought a 1984 chevy camaro yesterday with a 350 manual 5 speed tranny in it the body has 90k miles on it and is pretty rust free........ The engine is a 350 bored .30 over with edelbrock 4 barrel carbs and a edelbrock intake manifold...... the engine was rebuilt 30k miles ago when bored out.......... The clutch is brand new with a lifetime warrenty from autozone under the engine it is all chrome chrome valve covers chrome air filter chrome oil filler area lol.......... chrome alternator cover........ this thing sounds amazing and the headers and muffler are all stock.....we want to stait pipe it tho hehe........ It seems to be slower than the mustang we drove earlier for some reason......... http://bonnevilleclub.com/forum/view...r=asc&start=20 but the tires are to big and the speedo is off alittle bit the back end dont kick out like the stang did at 10 mph floored in 1st the gear ratios are so messed cause of the tires...... you shift out of 2nd at about 85 mph (shows like 62) and for some reason the 1st night we had er out we bottomed er out on a back road going 60 mph and put a hole in his oil pan...we are going to fix that tommorrow with some water j-b welder (it works under liquids) for some reason the front of the car sits really low like the wheels are to close to the wheel wells but its probally suppost to be like that....... on the test drive we broke the clutch pedal and were gone for like 25 mins b4 we came back and they were all pissed thinking we were out beating the car or possibly stealing the car lol..... he thought we stole the 1999 grand prix gtp tricked out and ditched it for a beater camaro lol they fixed the clutch pedal tho some pin broke........ at first he thought we said the clutch went out and he was yelling and real firey "damn it that clutch is brand new theres no way its bad you were beating it yada yada yada" ........ he paid $2500 he was asking for $4500.......... it sounds amazing and i couldent imagine flowmasters on this car but dunno if flowmasters or stait piped would sound better........... o well i'll show you guys the car tommorrow

Headers were never stock on 3rd gen'*. F-body are much heavyer then the 'stangs so it will be a little slower. Also what diff gears did the Camaro and 'stang have. That makes a big change in butt-dyno readings .
