I did a tranny service on my Silverado. surprisingly it was as bad in the pan as I thought. The magnet had almost nothing on the magnet. I used walmart supertech Dex VI.

These glasspack style magnaflow mufflers are my favorite. This is my second set.
sounds alot better than i would think. ive heard the 6'* with cherry bomb type mufflers and it sounded like a awful fart can. and i like the sound on 8'* i had them myself for a while. seems like the magnaflow quiets the raspy-ness on the 6 and just leaves the cool tone

I don't know I have had the truck two years. I have put 20,000 on it. The truck has 171000 on the odometer.

Had a busy weekend, the rear brakes on the wife'* caddy were worn down to the squealers so I did a pad slap on all four corners and did a LOF. My truck blew out a wheel cylinder on Friday so it got new rear shoes and wheel cylinders. I did a pad slap on the fronts as well. Since I had it up in the air I did a trans service, only had the filter kit sitting on the shelf for about 2 years. I used dextron 5.2 because I had 4 qts of dex 6 and 2 qts of dex 3 laying around. Changed the oil, replaced the headlight switch, don't ever buy airtex BTW they don't last long. Replaced it this time with a delco switch. And I put my heated O2 sensor back in because I had to have it smogged last month and they would of failed it because it isn't OE smog equipment. Oh yeah and a fuel filter.
