Jack up the car, drain the oil, remove the oil level sensor, remove the pan bolts and lower it. however, this assumes you don't have a engine mount on the pan and the pan is clear to drop it. Otherwise it'* going to take a bit more effort.
lol it probably would considering I just use floor jacks.. I HATE using floor jacks, the oil pan is clear from what I can see, I just dont know where the sensors and such are, then again I haven't really looked.. I jsut notice that my oil pressure likes to drop real low occasionally while stopped at like a stop light.. I just put 10W in yesterday and noticed it drop way down later in the day at a light.. Also While I was draining the oil I noticed the pan was caked in oil+dirt and I thought well that seal must be leaking and causing my pressure to drop.
Ask and you shall receive! I'm sure Dan has a little something floating around on how to swap the gasket out. He'* got more car pictures of the insides of his car than most little girls have one armed face shots on facebook.
yea my mom worrys ALOT anytime im under it because my uncle had a transmission fall on him while under a car and crushed his ribcage he lived from it but it wasnt a good experience.. She likes to randomly send my dad out but by the time he comes out im usually done LOL

They have a word for what that is. My wife sends one of the kids out every now and then. My son yells if I don't have a jack stand under the car. I keep telling him jack stand are for when you jack it up, and you can't use them when you use ramps.
