I didn't like Vista either. The special effects were neat, but it started to not be able to see the hardware I used to install it...
And Idid use and install Ubuntu. I was so impressed that I even burned a few install disks to hand out. But, not being used to Linux, I couldn't add any software to it, so I went back to my safety zone....

I'd like to get Beryl working on my Debian boot. A friend of mine got it working on Sarge and I'd like to upgrade my Sarge to Etch and give this a try.
Then I'll stare at my desktop for 5 hours.

I guess I'll join in on this odd debate...
Well I've finally gotten my vista to work flawlessly. It took quite some time, but finally got it JUST right. But, as I'm reading this, and replying to this, I'm on Ubuntu
Me love me some linux once in a while. I know dang well as soon as I get an extra machine in here, its getting Ubuntu, pronto. This is quite nice.I usually use Debian, this is my first time on Ubuntu actually. Very cool, very cool.Sqela has now *almost* convinced me to own a ford, to use this OS, and to nearly join some other...club.
Mmm. Recruiter :P If it wasn't for most of the Windows based programs I use on a daily basis, I would switch permanently.
