As most of you know my previous job as a computer technician for a locally maintained computer repair shop closed its doors. Well that happened June 2nd, and guess what joyful piece of mail I got the day before fathers day but didn't open until the day after!...an insufficiant funds notice in my checking account. In other words...MY BOSS WROTE ME A BAD CHECK!!!! I was furious and went to his house that day. I knocked on the door...no answer...so I looked in the window and you wouldn't believe it. The whole damn house was empty!!! There were still wires ripped out of the wall as if he was leaving in a hurry.
So I went to the police that night but everyone was on patrol. I slept on it.
Next day I went around and in the end this is what I discovered.
My old boss left 2 days before I went to his house. He was over 140,000 American dollars in debt to a town of 5000 people. How? Oh I'll tell you how! He tried to open a second store in a nearby town, which flopped. He owes the bank roughly $100,000, another close "friend" of his $5,000 and a computer, another employee $2,000 and a stolen laptop he asked to "borrow", the local housing development firm an unknown amount of money (no doubt an ungodly large amount), and me a measly $350 compared to everyone else. There is a lot more money he owes people that I don't know of. But I DO know the bank is after two cars he drives, I'll get back to that. I was told he was going to Minnisota to live with relatives (his wife'* parents I believe), but I heard hes actually in Canada. He left the states, so I can only guess this is NOT the first time he has done this. I know hes going to do this again and inside hes a city boy.
In a desperate attempt that maybe any of you Canadian BC members can find this guy and bring him back across the border I am posting the following information on him:
His name is Christopher Glowacki.
He drives an early 90'* (91?) white Mercadies 300 (300CL?) convertible AND owns a brand new black Mitsubishi Montero Sport: Limited Edition.
He is tall and skinny with short black hair and may talk about past expierences as a consultant from Manhattan.
He is around 38 years old and has a wife and 3 year old boy.
I'm sure I'll never hear of him again, but maybe I'll get lucky and one of you will run into him.
The good news is I did find a part-time job at Autometer and am slowly getting back on my feet.

That very thing happened to me with a part time job I had as a Bartender.
My bet he went to Toronto/Montreal or someplace like that with lotz of people to blend in with. Glad to hear you got another job though, hope you weren't out too much money?
