May be old news, but Google is getting ready to release their own operating system. It'* called Chrome OS.

Well, you don't have to wait to download it. It'* based on Linux so it'* readily available. I'm very excited about this... very. I can't wait for the first official release.

I don't see anything exiting about an OS that doesn't have software available like MS. Cold cruel facts, and why Apple has trudged knee deep in mud since itz inception. Linux huh.

That'* what it all boils down to; the software and the support. You can't get away from using Windows. For netbooks, tablets, and other mobile devices, you can use other operating systems with a small learning curve. Example, my first EEE PC withj a 7" screen came with a revision of Linux, which I used for about 3 months comfortably before installing Windows. Corporate environments though are a different story.
