Bye bye 2.84, here comes the 3.06 again!
Just got back from the j/y with a 3.06 diff. Now I get to spend the next 3 hours taking the 2.84 out, and putting the new one in.

Congrats on the find.... you'll definitely be noticing a bit of boost in accelleration.
Just remember to cruise at lower speeds on the freeway if you want the old mpg'*.

Yes, yes, thank you Mr Wren, my SE did come stock with the 3.06. When mine originally **** itself, I was only able to find a 2.84 readily accessible. And I do remember what its like to taste and smell rubber. Hell, I was able to do it with the 2.84.
Anyway, just got it back together. All washed up now, gonna go take it for a spin and annoy the neighbors
