Well, maybe. Going to try to find a ride out to the agency today (They don't have a 'shelter'... it'* a pretty cool program where people sign up to be a foster home till an owner comes along). Anyway I'll go meet the dog, and if they think I'm right, then the dog comes to my house (as well as the people running the program, to make sure my house is a good fit, but I think it'* actually to make sure I am who I say I am) for a trial period - If it all works out, then I get to keep her. I don't have any kids, so no problem there. But I've been reading up a bit..... the only tough decision I have to make is if she is too high energy. Doc ordered me to lose a few lbs., a good walk a few times a day will definately help that.
