Well, I was looking for a Grand Prix GT or GTP but the prices on them are just rediculous anymore. There is a white 2001 Bonneville SE with 105k for $6000 at the local dealer. Is there anything I should look out for or check when I go test drive it?

2001 hopefully wont have to many issues, open the trunk, check were the spare tire is for water or a mildew smell, some people have reported water leakage. check all the electronics, make sure they all work, maybe get a second opinion from a mechanic as well.

Dont forget the clicking noise in the steering.

Thanks everybody. How does the ride compare to a 97+ Grand Prix? I've mainly been a W-body fan and am selling my 94 GTP to get something newer, unfortunately the 97+ Grand Prix'* cost a near fortune.
Grand Prix feel like a light piece of plastic that feels like if you hit a few bumps the car will fall apart. This is how my aunts car felt and her car was on brand new on the show room floor. (Unless you get a GTP) The bonnevilles feel like a Cadillac with some parts missing on them. Still both cars are nice IMO.
I am a new owner of a 2001 sle bonneville, I have had my eye on this car for some time now. when i bought this car finally 3 weeks ago, i got everything and more with my bonneville. Luxury, power, great sport/aggressive look and a car that can be driven for many years. The only personal mistake, i wish i would have gotten a supercharged bonneville, Im always in need of more power.
