If I can't talk, I'd rather wait to go find some place where I can than to give even MORE money to the evils of t-mobile. They already own my soul, they're not getting another dime

i never really was into texting until i got my new phone, and 200 texts was just a few bucks extra a month... soon i'm going to have to raise the texts because last month i maxed out my texts and then some.
And for me texting is nice because i HATE talking on the phone, so texting is nicer for me.

I'm not as bad as a friend of mine, she got her bill and for texting alone it was like $300 needless to say after that she got unlimited texts :P

OUCH!

Point taken but this is my take on it. The first time I started text messaging was when I was in the US. about 8 years agp and my cell phone bill came to $629.45 for one weeks worth of phone calls which I tired to limit. Text messaging was free for me so I started using that to save money. What I found was that one 2 minute phone call could save appoximately 5 text messages on my end and a whole lot of time. To me a phone call got to the point a lot faster. I guess if you're bored or need something to do which is not what I'm saying most are doing then it'* a source of entertainment. I don't find text messaging entertaining, a simple phone call is much.........much faster. I find text messaging far less personal.

Sorry I don't mean to offend.

I 100% agree.

Business = phone call
Personal = text message

Okay now boys....Andrew for the old comment. But Mark... you do seem older. Frankie Baby...do not take the old comment personal. I can testify to what you are capable of.

Back to the topic at hand. I hate texting AND I love it.

Hate it when I'm driving - it'* a distraction. Love it anywhere else - it'* convenient, you don't have to answer right away if you're busy, unlike a phone call.

Hate it when the conversation drags out - agreed that it takes longer to text that a phone call. Love it for the little quick communications like: "Mom, I made it back to college safe"

And yes...it is GREAT for flirting...at ANY age.
