I have a high end at the time SONY CR-TRV70 and it blows away most other camcorders I have used Bought it for $300 dollars 2 years ago when the retail was $1,299.00

I also have a Sanyo xacti c40 that take good video and pics in a pinch $120.00

Bought my girlfriend a JVC miniDV tape camera for Christmas and she loves it. THe DVD cams dont hold as much info on a disc as the miniDV tape ones do. So youd run throught DVDs like crazy. You got all your firewire stuff to go to computer?

Its around 3x3x4.5. too small for me, id loose the darn thing

My brother-in-law has had nothing but problems transferring from his JVC to his pc. CompUsa said this was with ALL JVC palm or handicams. You need a specific chip for the usb & firewire to get it to work. I did look on the net and confirmed what he was told; That was last year btw.

Good luck on getting a TD rebate

I stopped buying from them after getting shafted a few times.
