maybe not everyone spends what others would on a car on camera equipment. All I was saying is for your average joe the DVD is more convient to finalize it and then pop it in the dvd drive then using the cables and such. W/e i love mine that is all that matters

Bought my girlfriend a JVC miniDV tape camera for Christmas and she loves it. THe DVD cams dont hold as much info on a disc as the miniDV tape ones do. So youd run throught DVDs like crazy. You got all your firewire stuff to go to computer?

I bought a vupoint DV-DA1-VP Camcorder. Its not the best thing in the world but the quality is good. Plus its a camera and an MP3 Player. Which I now use it for all 3 things...
