Default The strangest potential road trip ever.

The link is huge. My friend, Trent, recently moved from Indianapolis to San Bruno, CA. I figured I'd take a road trip out to meet him, but then I realized that there'* more to see when taking the trip. Just the fact that I'd pass right next to Bonneville Salt Flats made it necessary to map this thing out. Let me know if you are along the way. At least 3 cities were added on purpose, and just because there aren't white dots doesn't mean that I won't be stopping there. Take, for example, every city through which the highways run. Another important thing to consider is that you shouldn't take offense to being "excluded" from the trip. Yes, I totally skipped Nebraska, but that'* not too bad, right? Also, remember that this is absolutely hypothetical. I'm just having fun with Google Maps.

Your PC may crash.

it would be so depressing getting that close to CA, knowing that you are only halfway

I laughed when I realized that I would get that close and then bounce right back. It'* not depressing when I actually want to go to all those places, but yes, a month-long trip like that would be just awful. Where would I do oil changes?

Iowa isn't so bad. I put that in to make it a bit of a boring trip. My dad had a white 1976 Oldsmobile 98 with a soft top and all white leather inside with a wood grain dash trim. It had a 455 in it, and it was awesome! It took the Iowa hills pretty well because it didn't slow down going up. I want to try it with my own car, but this time at least a bit faster than the speed limit!

Florida is kind of disappointing. There were no fresh fish markets! I can get fresher fish here in IN than I found in FL! Did they outlaw fishing or something? At least I'd get to visit some souvenir shops, though.

Yeah, I have a road trip like that planned out myself. Its about 18,000 miles long. Includes an 9 way zig zag, including most every large city in the country...and everything in between. I plan to do it in a few years when I have some money saved up. Also, getting a GOOD camera and about 10 very large flash cards. Hope to take about 20,000 photos. Supposed to last about 2 months. Should cost me about 10,000. But since my best friend is coming with me, we might split it.

Wow! That is insane. You know you added like 3 or 4 times the distance between Inidana and California right?

That oughta be fun though, I want to try and get a group of my friends together, once we get out of college and do something like that!

Looks like you pass through Va, the very end of it, you'll be in Virginia for like 20-30 minutes lol, I'm on the coastal side of Virginia. Which would add about 6-8 hours to your trip.
