The strangest potential road trip ever.
If it was me, I'd cut Kansas, Okie and Texas...instead I'd go NW from KC, cut through the Sand Hills in Nebraska (remarkably pretty), the Black Hills in * Dakota, perhaps loop through Montana, Hit the Tetons in Wyoming, then Salt Lake City, UT, East to Denver, then South to Albuquerque, NM, then Tucson then Flagstaff, AZ, on to Vegas, SW to San Diego, then North all the way along the coast to San Bruno. When you head back home, go N through Oregon, Washington, and into BC.

Very good responses so far. I'm afraid that if I take agrazela'* trip instead, I'd actually end up not seeing all my planned things. That ought to be the way back, though. It'* a good trip.
rjolly87, that sounds like a great idea. Should I happen to make it out that way, I'll absolutely stop by.
You know, since owning the Bonneville from over a year and a half ago, I haven't put as many miles on it in all this time as this trip would take.
And it'* good to see two Iowans noting Iowa is interesting. I don't think I've ever been to Grand Rapids, so it would be cool to see it. Where are all the other people whose cities I'll pass by? 93-SSE, sorry I didn't add your city to this. I would love to see the work on Guinevere and your dad'* Cougar, but it'* "just so out of the way..." You'd be on the return trip, though.
