actually, i spend most of my time over in a tranny shop (4l60/65), but they move me around as they see fit... i might spend some time over at milford in the next year (that'* what i'm hoping for anyways). just for kicks (and my newfound appreciation for the H body), i've thought about spending time over at the 4t65 shop, but we'll see. my old boss just got transfered down there for a job as (trying to remember) ops manager? i think. anyhew, it'* a fun job.

Will there come a day that a dragster will look at his trashed 350 and decide to go with an all aluminum Ecotec pumping out 600hp? My money is on YES.

But there'* more to that then the engine. Ricers are idiots, domestic or import, it just started on imports, that screw up cars. They make them all "show" ( i use the term lightly) and that'* it. There'* DRS (Domestic rice syndrome) it'* one of the worst.
Ricer is a word that is definently worn out. It went from saying it was a import car, to everything. Well the Ecotec in NIRA is pumping out 8/900 horses I believe. I have the specs on it. If I find the article Ill post it. I know the Summit one was on Ebay for sale.

I used to own a 70 Coronet with a 318. Granted it was only 318, but that thing still moved considering Chrysler stripped the Coronet/Superbee down to make it lightweight and fast. I'm going on a speech here, but just thought I'd share how I view the automobile market today. Anyone else have input?
K, I found the magazine article. The Summit Racing Ecotec produces 1200hp@10,500rpm'* and at 50 lb of boost. But dont forget todays "muscle cars" get better mpg than the older muscle cars.
