Yeah they are interesting. My partner has one and we are planned to be upgrading the turbo soon on it. One guy on the SRT Forums with his SRT-4 put down 500WHP with no tune. Just let the computer handle it and a fuel regulator that was 1:1 ratio. It'* still a Neon of course but its fast. Not just zippy, its fast. And the guy who did 500WHP is doing it by only getting Mopar Stage 1 upgrade ($300 bucks which is bigger injectors and computer to go with that) and bigger turbo with wastegate. That'* it.
There is also a package from AGP Turbo for $1700 bucks with everything you need and you can put down 260WHP without trying. So for the money, they are kick butt cars. But it is still a Neon, I have many many pictures of my partner'* and he has the yellow 03 one (only year they offered yellow). It'* a neon with a different motor basically, still uses stock Neon Motor mounts and different suspension. That'* about it.

Although, my friend has a Neon. It'* no SRT4, but I'm sure the insides are all the same. It'* too dang small, and it'* not the kind of car that you wanna drive on long trips with. It sure would be a fun car to race in though.

I'd like to see how the new Ecotec evolves, the */C'ed one is kinda hot.... Makes the solstice fast.
It'* a neat motor, and if you just wanna race that'* fun and all, but i'd like a nicer interior for $20k.

Solstice isn't supercharged. It'* powered by the 2.4L Ecotec using V-TEC technology to pump out 170hp. However the Chevy Cobalt SS is supercharged. The Ecotec is a good engine and I'm fond of it...a lot (most of you know that by now )
Will there come a day that a dragster will look at his trashed 350 and decide to go with an all aluminum Ecotec pumping out 600hp? My money is on YES.

At the Chicago Auto Show they said it was only available in the 170hp Ecotec. Who knows, we're gonna get all crazy numbers until its released.

but just this monday we got a refresher on corporate security and all that jazz, so i'd feel really guilty for saying anything was a no or go...

p.*. i just wish that GM had a similar vehicle in their lineup - i love performance rwd psudo luxury cars, but there'* a market for ricer-esque...
