My first phone:



actually I bought my first phone (prepaid) at age 13. Nokia Brick Phone. I remember it was $200 and a bit over $0.50 a minute

Yup, I believe that was the first cell phone I ever used. I remember when it stated to beep when the phone was going dead, you only had about 30 seconds. Mind you that was in 1993. Back then it was .95 per minute. Do you remember how heavy they were Hans?

had the nokia like Hans and Haro also the qualcom like Sandrock
also had a wired cell in my 86 bronco.came with the truck.

but this was my first cellphone.

my first: sanyo 4900Vi

I got that in .. i wanna say 02/03.. in mid '04,

in about 2003, i got my second one: sanyo 8200 blue


after that, in like earlyt '07 i got a silver 8200.. still on that.

It was the size of a large loaf of bread, and weighed nearly twenty pounds...
The battery itself was about 5"x2 1/2"x14", the overall size of the the phone was 51/2"x 6"x 14 1/2", and the handset laid along the handle that stuck up from the top...

The damn thing put out 6 WATTS! Most phones now put out less than 0.6 watts....

BTW, I never needed a phone until I started driving trucks, so my first cell was a VZ6100...
I hated it...
