Sitting at the dealer...
I've almost been taken out by a Bonne before, but I still like them
Modding - not much for now, I've got a warranty, so I do need to keep that in consideration as well. I'm definitely going to be looking into a boost gauge, maybe a column mount, or the center mount that goes above the air vents.
Don - I didn't hate the Bonne at all, but it was getting up there in things coming my way, it would've been way too much money for what it'* worth. Rust was starting, tranny had coughed a few times on me, and I'd rather send her off, then let it fall apart in my hands. It was quite possible the perfect college car for me.
F body? the only ones I would consider would be 98+ with the LS1 and a manual transmission. Quality still wouldn't be there, or technology. I'd rather have a GTO myself.
Just to say my thing on the Domestic/Import debate on cars, I like all "good" cars. I (for the most part) don't care about the name on the car but how it is. I'll take a Solstice GXP over an S2000, but I'll take a GTI over a Cobalt SS. Each country of manufacturer has their ups and downs. I'm all for being a great american, but I *REALLY* don't like what auto unions have done to this countries auto industry.
I don't like all German cars, I don't hate all Jap ones. With the GTI I can pull up to a dinner party sedately and in style, and then when i've gotten sick of small talk, go find twisty road to carve up, it goes from sports car, to settled down instantly.

Jason,
I know you didn't hate the Bonnie
But you found a car you like.. And thats what really matters... And it will have a warranty to go with it to hold you in case issues do occur.. all good things in my book..
I am not what we'd call a VW fan, But they have caught my eye more and more
So when are we going to see some more Pics

Got a couple on our trip today on our Sol/GTI fun run through the MN/WI river valley.
I'll take her out to a park or something tonight and get some for ya.
