Should I try and run the Broad Street Run?
Well I did it!
I crossed the finish line at about 1hr and 20 mins.
(edit - I actually ran 1:22, I'm content with that)
I put myself in the 9min/mile heat since I never ran more than 8 miles before. It took a few mins to get up to the starting line so my actual time should be less. Everyone was given a chip to wear on their shoe that triggers your recorded time when you cross the start. So, I'll look it up on-line later.
In all it was real fun and I'm really glad I did it. I can't wait till next year.
It was amazing to see all the different types of people who participated too.
