my bench is covered with counter top laminate, its pretty tough and easy to clean and doesnt absorb oils

Nice garage!
I'd give a finger or two just to have a garage.
All the work I did yesterday, pulling the steering column apart and changing out the MF switch, I did on the side of the road. No joke. I had to watch for cars headed to or from my neighbors house on the dead end, and shut my door, since the road is only a single car width.

My last bench was a counter top and it worked great, but I think I'm going to use sheet metal.

Finished up the shop today.

Things piled up on the other side while I cleaned up.
