okay so names are darlene and tracy

darlene- im worried that the radioactivity from japan is going to kill us
me- its not going to make it here
darlene- how you figure 3 reacters have blown up
me- from what im hearing the farthest its going to make it is about 1000 miles out to sea
darlene- we whatever i need proof
me- remeber hiroshima
tracy- was that a movie
me- no we dropped the atomic bomb on them
tracy- when recently i didnt know we did anything like that in iraq
darlene- no this was like 40 years ago
me- worldwar 2 in the 40'*
me- anyway darlene that only affected hiroshima it would have to be a ton of those worth of radiation to get here
tracy- i think its just going to end up like at the end of resident evil 2

Darlene is indeed wrong. The trace amounts of Fukushima radiation in the upper atmosphere can't kill us, because Three Mile Island ended all life on this continent back in the seventies.

Thinking there is zero effect to us is wrong as well. And you are correct, we aren't going to croak in a week from it. Just as we didn't die from Cherynoble and 3 Mile. There are effects though.
