"ricing out" cars

There are many "tuners" involved with Mitsubishi Starions and Chrysler Conquest. We have to fabricate almost everything for our cars since they are rare and divorced models. We truly modify our cars. One thing I think we all forget is that these people that do this to there car, no matter how distasteful, are car enthusiast just like you. You shouldn't always judge a book by it'* cover.

Most imports that have the wing that truly need them, are RWD converts. The only reason you need a wing is to provide down-force at high speeds for the rear wheels that provide the drive, i.e. the Supra.
That being said, any FWD with a wing = rice.

25lbs!??!?! They're plastic, take it off, and it'* like 5lbs.... 
Spoilers are nice for street cars, wings are nice for... GT racing.
Why do they rice? Simple. 2 main reasons. Too be cool, and to have women.
To be cool - they think if they add a fart cannon, and a wing, and some body extensions, they've got a full on race/show car.
To have women - If they rice out, pimp out, trick out, whatever out their car, that means they have a fast car (uh huh). that means they have money. If they have money, then women (in that scene) flock to them.
It seems sometimes like the fad is going, and then it'* back, who knows.
