Default RAM.......

Here'* the RAM I need.....But I want to make sure I get a good brand and good performance from it....Here'* my RAM'* Specs:

2 x 184-pin DDR DIMM sockets

Support up to maximum 2 GB memory (PC manufacturer'* maximum memory may differ)

Supports unbuffered PC2700/2100 non-ECC DDR SDRAM memory
I've noticed that my PC is using the HD a LOT and it'* getting annoying and severely lugging the machine down.

Here'* some pics for ya:
My Resource Usage-

What I have open-

you arent going to really notice a difference between el cheapo RAM and major name brand high performance stuff unless you are overclocking the RAM, so i say find some cheap stuff, check out www.newegg.com find some cheap RAM with good reviews and i bet youll have no trouble with it at all, PC3200 should be backwards compatible with that as well...but dont quote me on that.

Corsair XMS ram is a bit more money than the cheapo stuff, but it is very stable, and has a lifetime warranty.

If you're like me, and hate waiting for Mail Order toys - Check out this link

Like stated previously, unless you plan on beating the heck out of it, memory is memory. And you should be able to get this locally at the Twin Cities MicroCenter....

I've got dual 3 ghz P3'* and 3 gigs of memory. Works pretty well. I think RAM = 1/2*CPU is an ok combo.
