Yup.
Worst part for me is that it wasn't my cat when it got puked in, but I was driving.
When I bought the car, the smell came with it.
But, for $50, it was worth cleaning.

Can't say I've ever faced that particular situation, but I did have a friend light up a cigarette in the back of my old Taurus. Knew I wasn't a smoker, knew my rules. He walked home, or called a cab/his mom, I don't know. Screw him. The rest of my passengers didn't say shat.
