Sorry to hear, I'm a dog lover to. I have a Red Dobie, 4 Dachsunds, and a pug. I lost my oldest Dachsund just before Christmas, 20 years old. It was like losing a family member. Do you have any others or going to get another one?

Of course not it was a 20 pound bag every week but I loved him he was black and he was part of a full pure breed family with all his akc papers and everything his parents were actually show dogs but I guess if u love dogs or any animal for that matter it doesn't really matter how much u have to spend

My wife is a Vet and gets free food because they sell the Purina Pro Mixes at her Clinic. With all our dogs it helps alot. She has to take different varieties, but they are used to them all. Sure beats paying for the 6 of them.

I've had a couple of dogs as co-pilots over the years and they never seem to live long enough. It'* always tough when you need to help them along to the light and it creates a huge empty hole in your heart and soul. My current co-pilot is a 145 Douge de Bourdeaux who is a real sweetheart. If I could share him with you to ease the pain, I would.
