I had a Ford once. I learned on a 79 F-250 w/ the F-350 suspension package, and 3 speed manual. I was given a 74 2 Door LTD Brougham while I was in Guam, and man I loved how it rode. I would only get a 70'* or older model Ford since we all know anything Ford put out from the 80'* on had no character.
OK, a number of you already know that I drive a '94 Ranger to work every day. I've owned four all told and am not a huge fan, having had more than my share of issues with them ('67 Mustang, '87 Taurus, '91 Lincoln Town Car). The Town Car was the most fun to drive, believe it or not. I drove it like it was rented...
I have always preferred my GM vehicles though and have truly found them to be more reliable. In my experience anyway.
