I drove a Ford Escort to make Title runs for this local used car dealership. I ended up beating on the poor 4 banger and it died about a block away. You should have seen the look on the guys face when he saw me walking back. LOL

Great Truck; My First Vehicle; Love It !
Would never buy a Ford car; LTD, Mustang (4.6 or 5.0 only) or of course the GT w/ a blower
Are the only exception.
The fog lights fit nice and snug where they are at and when it'* clean; it still looks good.

Had for $800
Sorta-quick , Bought Feb. 3, 2006
Feb. 4th, registered/plates mounted/insured
Feb. 4th, pick up best friend, washed it, waxed the hell out of it.. then the night, he slept over, took apart dash, free'd stuck RPM needle (was turned past the redline and like someone twisted it all the way and when you start, it'd be knocking the underside of the idle pin for when the engine'* off.. like it tried making a 360 degree turn..) lost some screws, next morning, drove to autozone, got plugs, wires, and some laundrysmell-like "new car" little trees.. put them in, dropped him off, went home, installed plugs/wires, fixed hood since it didn't pop when you pull the cable due to it being stuck (cable).. went to go pick up screws at hardware store
The parking lot has three lanes. A center heading east, and two lanes, one opposite each side of the center heading west. I was in center, thought it'd be fun to see if it had any more cojones since the repair.. Got it to like 30 (it'* a 10 mph parking lot..) and some guy from the west heading parking lot lane pulled a u turn into the center lane, i broadsided him, and the airbags in my car went off.. I noticed like 10 seconds later (got knocked unconscious for 10 seconds or so..) "wow.. airbags.. heh, they worked. wait wtf.. it must be totalled if there'* bags.. ugh, this smells. really bad.''
I got out, to find this

Bought for $800, totalled two days later, got $1,800.. waited a month, bought my baby
Had mom help me to get this

Those specific pictures were taken April 9th, and since, that plate has been straightened out, and the plate frame on my bonne replaced.. (Mechanic shop fucked it up.. but it was messed when I got it.. was cracked in half anyhow)
But you can still see the paint transfer from the silver Geo Prizm (same as a Corolla) on the plates, sorta. LOL
Hadn't had an accident with a Chevy (except being rearended in my moms van by the woman behind me who'd gotten rear ended..domino type-a thing) if you can think of that..
my suburban was had for 8 months, sold, bought the 'scort, crashed, bought the bonne, has been in shop alot but overall it'* my most favorite car yet

The new Ford GT'* come with the all aluminum DOHC 5.4L. They have a Lysholm twin screw strapped on from the factory. Somewhere between the 2003 and 2005 models they did something to increase the power I think, but who can argue with 500 lb/ft of torque?. Could be wrong on that one. I am also under the impression they are under rated on power. I have no proof of that, it'* just hearsay. I would kill for the bare block, even though it'* a dry-sump oiling system.
*EDIT* Also, they list at $140k but tend to go for maybe $200+
