Filled my truck up today. Diesel @ 3.97 a gallon. Took $117 to fill it.

OUCH!!! I put $20 in mine, that got me almost 6 gallons.

It'* $3.20 here just took a big jump up from 2.79 the a couple days ago . May need to put a trans in the ford fiesta . Best part the salvage yard owes me one.

Canada is first as far as exporter of oil to the US. Whose second? Mexico. And America gets 40% of it oil from its own wells. Canada has large sources in its oil sands, but it isn't cost effective to gather from that source. We aren't at risk of running out of ALL oil, just "sweet crude" which is called that because it can be gathered from a conventional well. The BP spill last summer was the result of cost cutting on a very expensive complex well (not easily accessible). When sweet crude runs out, we will need to look for oil in odd places (which also adds to cost for oil companies).


As I was touching on before, much of the US' untapped reserves are in hard to get to spots and probably won't help with lowering pump prices as well, its more wells that can be built cheaply and risk blowing up. Its just better to leave that supply to itself untouched since it doesn't make much sense to drill for it.

I'm currently in England, and gas is about equivalent (where I am anyway) to $6.80 a gallon.

also, when the heck did gas prices go up? Last time I checked it was sitting around $2.75 - 2.95

Times like this I wish I had e85 stations around me, just took $60 to fill up the regal.




Well nevermind, its about $2.67 a gallon here in places that do actually have it and i dont think it would be any cheaper by using e85 or gas.

SUV drivers doing 4 mph? They are usually going faster than everyone else, because you know, the bigger the car you have, the better driver you are, even if you don't know how to engage the 4wd system that came with it. At least thats how it is here.

What are you all complaining for...I have to pay for Fuel in 5 TRUCKS!!! LOL two of em dieisel..Bunch o cry babys...But i get to write off the diesel fuel haha but still
